Preceded in death by wife, Mercedes Cruz Casias; father, Feliciano Casias and mother, Sofia Padilla; three sons, Todosio, William and Jesse Casias; brothers, Todosio Casias and Francisco Casias; sisters, Virginia Cruz, Desieria Martinez and Martita Martinez. Survived by companion, Dora Pacheco; and his sons, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Casias, Boone, Colo., Gilbert (Arabella) Casias, Mesa, Ariz., John (Wanda) Casias, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Richard (Debbie) Casias, Jasper, Ga., Gabriel (Rose) Casias, Decatur, Ill.; daughters, Odelia (Eddie) Gonzales, Denver, Lydia (Mike) Sintas, Colorado Springs, Colo., Mary (Richard) Cardenas, Clovis, N.M., Rose (Silverio) Gonzalez, Talking Rock, Ga., Irene (Chuck) Freeze, Decatur, Ill., Jean (Frank) Bonetta, Pueblo, and Lorraine (Teodoro) Gonzalez, Pueblo; brother, Filiberto Casias, N.M. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Julio loved to work in his garden. He grew the best chili, tomatoes and cucumbers. Viewing today and Friday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at Romero Chapel. Vigil rosary Friday at 7 p.m. at Romero Chapel. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Leander Church. Celebrant, Rev. Ben Bacino and officiant, Pastor Bobby Wilson. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received at Romero Courtesy Hall, 110 Cleveland, Pueblo, after the interment.
