The Herr and Rudy families were prominent landowners in Louisville, Kentucky in the 1700s-1800s. The home of George Herr and his wife, Sarah "Sallie" Simcoe Herr, was located at what was then 612 Rudy Lane. With the development of new streets on the old Herr-Rudy lands, the address of the house has changed to 6212 Two Springs Lane, but it is still listed on the National Register of Historic Places as 612 Rudy Lane. The cemetery was located on that property but, again, as the subdivision was developed and part of the land surrounding the original house was sold, the cemetery is now located behind 1602 Two Springs Place.
