"He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever."
-Rev. 21:4

Born to the parentage of the late Albert and Rosa (Middlebrooks) Jackson. At a young age, he received Christ and united with the Sandbed Baptist Church of Kathleen, Georgia, where he remained a lifelong member. He graduated Valedictorian from Pearl Stephens High School of the class of 1966-67. After graduation, he was employed at Robins Air Force Base for a brief time. He later enrolled at Fort Valley State University. Later he decided to enlist in the United States Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He became ill and spent most of his life as a patient at the VA Hospital. In later years, he lived at a Personal Care Home. He departed this life on the morning of October 16, 2020. Although his presence on earth is no more, precious memories will live forever in the hearts of his siblings, a sister-in-law. a host of relatives and friends. We commend him to the serenity, peace, and the blessing of eternal life. We rest in our faith in God and in the knowledge that we will one day be reunited with him.

From worldly cares and woes of earth
His spirit hath release, Life's journey
O're; in realms of life
May his spirit rest in peace

Beyond Life's Gateway

There's an open gate at the end of the road,
through which each must go alone.
And there is a light we cannot see
Our father claims his own.

Beyond the gate
our loved one finds happiness and rest.
And there is comfort in the thought
that a loving God knows best.
