I am wondering if you would like to place this memorial in the cemetery I have newly created dedicated to those Confederate soldiers killed at the Battle of Pilot Knob? I believe Sgt Godwin could be buried in the South Rifle Pit, Ft Davidson, Pilot Knob, Iron Co, Mo.
The Oct 1st date for his death came from his wife's pension application. If he was killed in the battle he is most likely buried in the South Rifle pit. I have set this cemetery up for those soldiers like Agrippa Godwin.

(I can't place him in a cemetery without anything definite on his burial location.)
