Nevertheless, I truly enjoy making someone alive happy every time I fulfill a request. Re-uniting relatives is a thrill. Making sure they are remembered is an act of grace.
I recently bought a plot and ordered a memorial tombstone for four relatives who died before the age of ten, 1902-1915, and are buried in pauper graves with strangers. I have a photo of George and one of Harry. Nicest thing I've ever done for my family. Looks great. My wife and I make it a lunch date whenever we visit a cemetery. We've taken photos in Iggingen and Zuffenhausen in Germany, Auvers-sur-Oise Town Cemetery and Normandy in France and Colon Cemetery in Havana. Good stuff.
