Mr. Glen Easterling, age 81, of Elliott County, passed away Friday, February 2, in Olive Hill.

Mr. Easterling was born July 30, 1925 in Carter County, and is the son of the late Ephraim and Georgia Ann Wilson Easterling.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two wives, Thelma Logan Easterling and Hattie Holbrook Easterling, two brothers, Earnest Easterling and Pete Jackson Easterling.

Mr. Easterling was a Christian and retired from US Steel Mill and was a life long farmer.

Glen is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jimmie Easterling (Mary) of Ashland, Ohio, Bernard Easterling of Olive Hill, Virgil Easterling of Niles, Ohio and Ephraim Easterling Jr. (Judy) of Olive Hill; four sisters and brothers-in-laws, Emma Dean (George) of Niles, Ohio, Ruby Lunsford of Solider, Betty Williams (Thomas) of Vevay, Ind. and Bonnie Williams (Sam) of Olive Hill.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 5, at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. Brother Bobby Easterling and Brother Eddie Porter officiated. Burial followed in the Holbrook Cemetery in Elliott County.
