Mrs. Dorothy F. Fuller

Mrs. Dorothy Foster Fuller, 94, Topeka, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 1990, at a Topeka retirement home.
Mrs. Fuller taught in Hoyt and Anapolis, Md. schools and at Topeka High School.

She was born Feb. 6, 1896, in Waukomis, Oklahoma Territory, daughter of the Rev. Festus and Mrs. Lille Howe Foster. She was graduated from Topeka High School in 1915 and from Washburn College in Topeka in 1919.

Mrs. Fuller was a member of the Woman's Club Voiland Team and a charter member of Alpha Kappa chapter of Delta Gamma sorority at Washburn.
She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, and a charter member of Group XI at Central Congregational Church. She was a member of the Altruist Club and the Women's Circle at Westminster Presbyterian Church, past president of Brewster Place Council and past precinct chairman for the Republican Party.
She was a member of First Congregational Church in Spencer, Iowa, where she lived many years,

She was married to Charles Raymond Fuller Sept. 8, 1928, in Topeka. He died in 1968. She lived in Topeka since.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Van Slyke, Topeka; a son, Fred F. Fuller, Lees Summit, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Brewster Place. Mrs. Fuller will lie in state after noon today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
