Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hass Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Janet Edwards of Central United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, N.M.
Mrs. Smith was born in Elm Tree, Tenn. The former Gladys Winters, she was raised in Cuba, Ky., and graduated from high school there. She married Othie Nigh Smith in Toledo in 1929. They moved to Dalhart in 1967. He died in 1989.
Survivors include three sons, Howard L. Smith of Roy, N.M., Gerald Smith of Amarillo and Clifford Smith of Eagle Nest, N.M.; two daughters, Anita Kelley of Dalhart and Beverly Marker of Las Vegas, Nev.; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
