Add PhotosThe Seminary Crypt Beneath The Chapel Located In The North - South Direction, Is Not Very Deep And Is Thus Illuminated By A Series Of Small Windows On Each Side Of The Wall. It Consists Of A Central Corridor And Two Large Sections Of Earth On Either Side Of This Corridor. Each Section Has Two Rows Of Burial Vaults. An Ossuary Is Also Found In The Crypt. It Houses The Remains Of 135 Sulpicians, Who Were Transferred To The Crypt In 1874. The Remains Of The Sulpicians Who Died Between 1875 And 1907 Are Based In "Loculi", While The Bodies Of Most Of The Sulpicians Who Died Since 1946, Are Deposited In The Ground. There Are About 110 Vaults In All. The Remains Of The Dead Lie Beneath A Series Of Black Crosses Indicating The Name Of The Sulpician, Place And Date Of Birth, And Place And Date Of Death.
A Columbarium At The End Of The Crypt Houses The Ashes Of The Sulpicians Who Ask To Be Cremated.
