Curiously situated in the middle of a field, this church was originally mainly for the use of the owners and servants of Hutton Bonville Hall, which was demolished in 1962. A picturesque church with nave, bell-cote, north aisle and chancel, it was restored in 1896 and is now used for worship once a month.

The church has never served a large community, so its small churchyard has found place for burials for probably 1000 years, and still has some space left. The church was built on a small rise about 10m above surrounding farmland.
