Add PhotosWhen built in 1795 it was called Belair. When sold to the poet Joel Barlow, he renamed it Kalorama. A later owner was General John Bomford who was interred in the estate mausoleum but was later removed to Rock Creek cemetery when the last remnants of the original estate were torn down.
