Hokitika Cemetery, also known as Seaview Cemetery, is the cemetery for Hokitika in New Zealand. The first interrments would have been at the time of the Gold Rush when the town was founded. Previously, the jail, Seaview Asylum, and the hospital were located near the cemetery, and there is a memorial in the cemetery to the inmates of the asylum and jail who were buried in unmarked graves. Many of the earliest graves are also unmarked and are now under the car park. There is a section in the western side of the cemetery for Chinese gold-miners created in the late 1800s. Near the entrance to the cemetery on the east side of the road, there is a section with Jewish graves, the earliest burial date being 1872.
