The cemetery is divided into eight Gardens, including those carrying the names of the four Apostles:
* The Garden of St. Matthew
* The Garden of St. Mark
* The Garden of St. Luke
* The Garden of St. John
* The Garden of the Crucifixion
* The Garden of Gethsemane
* The Garden of Memories
* The Garden of Devotion
The Memorial Gardens are more than 30 acres in size, and more than 3,000 interments have taken place there in its history, which spans four decades.
Fully compliant with provincial perpetual care requirements, which ensure that the cemetery will continue to be maintained to a high standard in years to come, the Gardens have sufficient space to serve the Yorkton community and district well beyond the next century.
Most of the Memorial Gardens has lawn-level memorials, many of them also marked by flowers. There is also a section for the more traditional upright granite memorials for those who prefer that style of commemoration.
A pond and fountain, together with a large memorial and park benches, are featured in the area where cremated remains are interred. Nearby, there is an outdoor columbarium.
The important task of providing the care that ensures the beauty and serenity of Yorkton Memorial Gardens is entrusted to our knowledgable and hard-working staff and manager, Raymond Bailey.
