To reach Shrine Mont, take Orkney Grade Road all the way to the end. The road begins at Mount Jackson and passes through several communities along the way. The last of these are the Bryce resort, the town of Basye (pronounced bay-see), and Orkney Springs. After you pass the Orkney Springs post office, continue through the Shrine Mont retreat center. The road passes over a small bridge and ends in an oval. Keep right and drive three-quarters of the way around the oval. Look for signs to the shrine and for a place to park. A gravel path leads up to the shrine itself, an outdoor worship area with a memorial garden.
