"State Rd. 146 North from Golconda, turn Left on Lusk Rd (Old Rock Shop Road), turn at the hard Left, turn again at the hard right. Please ask permission at the home nearby before visiting the cemetery. N37* 27.660' W088* 28.616'"

This cemetery was located between Lusk and Raum in Grand Pier Township. It is located on the original Towns family homestead which was in Township 12 South, Range 7 East, Section 19 in the district lands. Their house was said to have been near War Bluff.

Many years ago some names and dates were documented by my grandmother, Mabel Anderson Nolen, who grew up in Golconda. She was the granddaughter of James Franklin & Sally Yewel Towns, and great granddaughter of Randal & Betsy Forsyth Towns.
