Times Daily, November 3, 2005, Florence, AL. Gregory Joe Sanderson, age 48, of Cherokee, Ala., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, Cherokee. His funeral service will immediately follow, and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Jack Coons will officiate.
Mr. Sanderson was a native of Cherokee, Ala., and a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Dorothy Sanderson, and his brothers, Bruce and Terry.
He is survived by his sons, Gregory Joel Sanderson, of Florence, Steven Sanderson and wife, Lisa, of Hamilton; daughter, Jessica Anderson and husband, Jessie, of Kansas; brothers, Roger Sanderson, of Florence, Donald Sanderson, of Iuka, and Gary Sanderson, of Muscle Shoals; sisters, Charlotte Brown, of Sheffield, and Beverly Mitchell, of Florence.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
