French Actress. Born Marie-Mathilde Perrette Chevau, she is best remembered for her co-starring roles in films with actors such as Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, Anthony Quinn, Orson Welles and George Peppard. In 1961, two years after her film debut, Perrette Pradier won the "Prix Suzanne Bianchetti" as the best promising French actress for her performance in the film by Sacha Guitry, "Stop Thief". During her long career she worked in theater, appearing in "La Bonne Addresse", "Six personnages en quête d'auteur" by Luigi Pirandello, "Le Bourgeois gentilhomme", "Le Malade imaginaire" by Moliere, and was the voice actress of celebrities as Faye Dunaway, Jacqueline Bisset, Margot Kidder, Julie Andrews, Kate Jackson. In 1994, gave own voice to character of "Sarafina" in the French version of the animated film of Walt Disney Studios, "The Lion King". The several films to her credit include titles such as "Les Amours de Paris", "Behold A Pale Horse" by Fred Zinnemann, "Comme une femme" and "Le Jeu de la vérité" by Robert Hossein. Thanks to her eclectic personality, she also worked for the television where has performed in leading roles of several TV movies, including "The Inspector Leclerc enquête", "Les Jeux de 20 heures" and "La Vieille Dame et l 'africain". Perrette died because of a heart attack as a result of an aneurysm.
