RONALD LOUIS LIGHTMAN was born in Memphis on August 19, 1951 to Richard Lightman and the late Jeanne Garretson Lightman. He attended Christian Brothers High School in Memphis and Farleigh Dickinson College in New Jersey and graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Ronnie was bright, intellectually curious, and musically talented. He composed music in the vein of George Winston and played the piano beautifully. He loved to discuss the latest developments in physics and astronomy, always surprising family and friends with his knowledge and grasp of science. In disposition, he was sweet natured and loving. Lacking self discipline, Ronnie was never able to realize his great potential. In later years, he suffered from various physical illnesses. He was taken from us much too soon. Ronnie leaves his father, Richard, and brothers, Alan, John, and David. There will be a memorial service for him at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 11:30 am Monday, December 13.
