Nancy Williamson, wife of Gov. John Clark, was the daughter of Col. Micajah Williamson and Sarah Gilliam of Wilkes County, Georgia. Col. Micajah Williamson served with Col. Elijah Clark, father of Gov. John Clark, in the Revolutionary War.

From an F.A.G. member on March 5, 2016:
"Nancy Williamson Clark, and husband, former Gov. John Clark, moved from Baldwin Co., GA, down to St. Andrews Bay (now Panama City, Bay Co.), FL in 1825. They resided in their FL home until both died. Originally buried in the "Clark Burial Ground" on their FL property along with two of her daughter, Ann Clark Campbell's, young children, Ann and Marcus Campbell, the Clark remains were removed to GA in 1922 by the GA DAR.
