Professional Football Player. For six seasons (1975, 1977 to 1981), he played at the tight-end position in the National Football League with the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. Born Gregory Alonza McCrary, he attended Griffin High School in Georgia and played collegiate football at Clark College. Selected by Atlanta during the 5th round of the 1975 NFL Draft, he appeared in 74 regular season games and provided exceptional production as a special teams player. After retiring as a player, he remained in the game to serve as a high school coach in the Atlanta-area.
