Ann Leviston the daugter of Robert and Mary Leviston of Knockinode, was baptised on the 18th of April 1830. She fled Ireland with her brothers during the Irish famine in the late 1840's and settled in Wisconsin.

She initially lived with her brother's Charles, John, and Joseph Livingston in Mifflin, before marrying Isaac Burton.

Ann's maiden name had several variations, and included Levingston and Livingston. It seems that the earliest record of the name of Livingston in Scotland.
