She began her career on stage, but she soon triumphed in cinema with films such as "Gli Italiani si voltano" and "La Spiaggia." She was elected Great Master of Republic. On Stage, she was considered a Great Lady of the scene. Other of her films "Napoli è Sempre Napoli" (1954), "Gli Innamorati" (1955), "Las Aeroguapas" (1957), "La Fine è Nota" (1993) and "La Forza del Passato" (2002). She worked until the end of her life.
