He may perhaps be best remembered for providing the voice of the character 'Yukon Cornelius' in the animated holiday TV program "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (1964). He was a longtime disc jockey in his native Toronto, before moving on to television and films. Among his many TV credits include "Hogan's Heroes," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," "Get Smart," "Bewitched," "Green Acres" and "Hill Street Blues." His film roles include "Caprice" (1967), "In the Heat of the Night" (1967) and "The Sting" (1973).
