Film Director, Screenwriter. He will be remembered for his remarkable contribution to the Italian film industry and for being the first president of the Fondazione Cinema. In 1979, he made ​​his debut behind the camera filming a 16 mm film. In the eighties, he moved to Rome where he began working as television writer and at the same time as director, making his film debut in the film 'Notte Italiana' (1987), scripted by Franco Bernini. In 1989, he directed 'Il prete bello', also collaborating on the screenplay of films such as 'Marrakesh Express' directed by award winning film director Gabriele Salvatores, 'Fracchia contro Dracula' by Neri Parenti and 'Domani accadrà' by Daniele Luchetti.
