Mayor of Detroit. He owned the Detroit & Windsor Ferry Co., with his father. Pridgeon was vice president of the Detroit River Savings Bank, afterwards the Marine Savings Bank, which was merged into the Dime Savings Bank, and also director Detroit & Milwaukee Railroad. He served as mayor of Detroit from 1889 to 1890 and was the youngest man to hold that position at the time.
