Her mother married Gerald Cacy and the family lived in Tulsa where she graduated from Will Rogers High School.
Shortly after getting married in 1968 Bonnie was killed in a single-vehicle car accident. The car, driven by her father-in-law Robert E. Clark, drove off U.S. 40 and into Antietam Creek in Hagerstown, Maryland. Mr. Clark was critically injured. They were on the way to visit her husband who was stationed with the Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Her passing was a profound shock to her family and many friends.
Bonnie was a friendly, vibrant and beautiful person. She became a member of Youth for Christ at Bell Junior High School in Tulsa and continued her active involvement with YFC at Will Rogers High School. As a born-again Christian she lead a life that exemplified the joy and service to others that the Christian faith can provide.
She was survived by her husband, mother and father Aladene and Gerald Cacy, and her sister Sherry Edgar.
