Ada was born in Cornwall England to James and Christine Stevens on January 3, 1931. Her family immigrated to Detroit, Michigan and that is where she met the love of her life, Clarence Bower. She was only 13 years old and he was 17. They were happily married for 50 years. The memorable stories of their love and courtship will always be remembered and cherished. They were a beautiful couple on the inside and out. They had five children together, three boys and two girls. In 1970 they moved to Mission Viejo, California, where they continued to raise their family. Ada stayed home and devoted her life to her husband and kids, placing them first over her childhood dreams. She was a talented person who enjoyed bowling, sewing, movies, and baking for her family. Ada dedicated many years of care to her parents and her husband. Her selfless dedication to her family was an incredible standard. She always stood out because she had a class and elegance that is hard to find today. Her husband adored her and often would just stare at her. Sadly she died on November 24, 2007 with her children by her side. She will be severely missed by her brother James L Stevens, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her dog Tyler (her baby).
Thanks for the Memories. You lived your life well and left a heritage that will live on. We'll miss you!
