She was the mother of the late motion picture star, Adrienne Ames. She will be buried with her daughter in the family plot in East Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. McClure was a member of the family that for years operated the old McClure Dairy Farms southwest of the city. She was born in Kentucky and came to Fort Worth before the turn of the century. She left the city 18 years ago to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Jane McClure Merrick, also a motion picture actress in Los Angeles.
Her late husband, Sam McClure, became an engineer for Hotel Texas, and later for the Baker Hotel in Dallas. He was killed in a fall from the roof of the Baker Hotel in 1943.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by 3 sons; Sam Hugh, Woodrow, and Joe McClure of Los Angeles, a brother, Byron Conley of Fort Worth, and a granddaughter, Marilyn Merrick, a motion picture actress.
