Dan. J. O'Connor Served as a Drummer Boy for one of the Connecticut Vol. Regiments out of Hartford (Which one is Unknown) during the Civil War of 1861-65 His Head stone has the G.A.R. Logo on it (G.A.R. Grand Army of the Republic a Civil War Veteran's group) He died Jan 10 1906 at age 50. The Attached Photos are Courtesy of The Virginia City Nevada Historical Soc. who were kind enough to let me copy them for Find A Grave Thank You.The Photo was taken in 1863 By B.K. Kellog & Brother Hartford Conn. and has a dated 3 cent tax stamp on the back, Drummer Boy Danuel J. O'Connor was about 7 years old at the time. The Other photo was taken in Nevada and is dated on the Back July 30th 1899
