Marie was the only daughter of Francis Grundman and Theresa Dick. She never married, lived her entire life in Webster, and enjoyed travelling, gardening, and handcrafts. She stood straight and tall until her death at the age of 98. She took a nap on her sofa and passed peacefully in her sleep. She was buried beside her parents.
