Sports Broadcaster. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a Studio host for Radio WLOL, (1947-48). Hired by WCCO Radio, he was a popular announcer for Minneapolis Lakers National Basketball Association games, plus the University of Minnesota basketball and football games for over two decades. He died of cancer at age 80.
