US Congresswoman. Born in West Point, New York, she moved with her parents to Portland, Oregon in 1884. Honeyman was a delegate to the State constitutional convention in 1933 which ratified the 21st amendment to the Constitution of the United States. She served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 1935 - 1937 and as a Democrat to the 75th Congress of the United States from 1937 to 1939. Afterwards she served in a variety of political positions in Oregon until the mid 1950's. Nan Wood Honeyman died in Woodacre, California in 1970.
