Murder Victim. 7 year old child abuse victim, killed by her step-father 24 year old Jason Lewis. Funeral service was at McCall's Funeral Home in Willamsbridge-Bronx,NY. Inez love to read and write. Inez had burns, cuts and broken bones over her body when cops on November 21,2001 rushed to the filthy Bronxdale apartment where she lived in with her mother. The girl who apparently never attended school and who cops believe had been abused over the last three years, was pronounced at Jacob Hospital. Cops from the 47th and 49th precincts and fire fighters from Ladder Co.32 and Engine Co.62, paid for the wake and funeral. When cops first arrived at the rundown building, Jason Lewis jumped out of the window. He was caught and taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was being treated for a broken leg. Cops charged Lewis with second-degree murder. Inez mother Natasha Anderson age 24, was charged with criminally negligent homicide in the November 21, 2001, death of Inez Bennett in her Bronxdale apartment.
