William P. Seidl, 78, of Lombard and formerly of Northbrook and St. Louis, died Feb. 26. Mr. Seidl was born June 5, 1924 in Manitowac, Wis. He was a 32-year employee of the U.S. Postal Service; a retired employee of Walgreen Co.; a cub master of the Boy Scouts of America.; a World War II veteran; an avid bowler; and a former member of the choir at Our Lady of the Brook Parish in Northbrook. Survivors include his wife, Agnes Kathryn; five sons, Jim, Larry (Lee), Rick (Nancy), Tom (Stacey) and Chris (Sandi); a daughter, Madonna (the late Jon) Holt; 15 grandchildren, Katie (Adam), Ryan, Abbey, Christian, Jonathan, Becky, Megan, Matthew, David, Nick, Kevin, Jack, Dan, Ti and Sean; and a brother, Elmer. Mr. Seidl was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred, Ludwig and Lester; and a sister, Charity Woolman. A funeral was held Feb. 28 at Kolssak Funeral Home. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Buffalo Grove.
