He is survived by Muriel, his wife of 62 years; his daughters, Vi Olguin, Moni Olguin Patten; his son, John Cabrillo; his four grandchildren, Micah, Tenaya, Molly and Michelle; four siblings, Dr. Leonard Olguin, Albert Olguin, Esther Olguin Riggs and Belia Olguin Smith and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. John will be remembered as a man who loved San Pedro, the ocean, and his family. A public memorial will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
