Services were Friday at Wilson-Andrews Chapel, Canon City. Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City.
He was born Jan. 21, 1911, in Sacramento, Calif. He attended the Colorado School of Mines and earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado.
On Aug. 31, 1973, he married Viola Wright in Colorado Springs.
He worked for Otis Elevator Co. for 43 years, retiring as the construction superintendent in 1976.
He was a member of Broadmoor Community Church, Colorado Springs, and the Masonic Lodge. His interests included travel.
He is survived by his wife; two stepdaughters, Georgene Nazarenus, Colorado Springs, and Marlene Zanetell, Gunnison; two brothers, Robert and Richard, both of Denver; a sister, Ruth Rielhl, Fort Myers, Fla.; three stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
