Dorothy Jean Simpson age 82, passed away on Thursday April 14, 2011. She was born August 22, 1928 in Keller, Tx to Clarence and Stella Hunter.Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday April 22, 2011 at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home.She was a graduate of Carter Riverside High School. Jean worked for Vought Corp. for 38 years where she was an Aviation Electrician, working on such planes as the Stealth Bomber. She settled in Alvarado in 1976. After retirement she worked at the Alvarado Nursing Home. She was a free spirit who touched everyone she met with her "show me" attitude.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Stella Hunter; brothers, Weldon Hunter and Charles Hunter; sisters, Frances Blevins and Betty Sims.Survivors: daughter, Vicki Sims of Alvarado; brother, Gilbert Hunter; sister, Margaret Hardin; loving family, Donna Harris, Dennis Sims, Terri Starks, Brandy Taylor, Aaron Whitehead, Hailee Taylor and a host of nieces and nephews she loved.Dorothy Jean Simpson (1928 - 2011)Dorothy Jean Simpson, 82, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011.
