Jake was the son of Alfred Harrison Stacy and Mary Rosetta Ann (Birge) Stacy. He had 4 brothers: Eual, Homer, Doyle and Lee and 5 sisters: Thelma, Della Mae, Lula, Margie and Shirley.

He was married to Margaret Needham Stacy for 38 years until his death. They had five daughters: Wanda, Jean, Jane, Jan and Phyllis.

He was a fence builder and carpenter by trade. He worked hard most every day of his life. His main thought in life was to provide for his family. He served in the Navy during World War II.

My Daddy was the nicest and sweetest man you could ever meet. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was the most gentle and decent human being I have ever known. All five of his daughters adored him and were totally devoted to him. We miss him every day of our lives.
