Born in Hastings, Mrs. Rust attended the local schools and graduated here, later teaching school. Following her marriage to Clarence B Rust the couple lived here until 1897 at which time they moved to St. Paul. In the early 30's they left for San Diego, California, later moving to Ronald, Washington.
Mrs. Rust was a woman who enjoyed a large circle of friends. She was always a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Rust are her husband, Clarence B Rust; one daughter, Mrs. Florence (E.M.) Anderson of St. Paul; four sons; Jay of Ronald, Washington; Spencer of Roundup, Montana; Clarence of St. Paul; and Harry of Gardiner, Montana; 13 Grandchildren; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Interment services will be conducted at Lakeside Cemetery, Sunday, May 25.
