Poet. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, she was a student nurse at the Stuivenberg hospital when she published her first two collections of poems "Vondelingskens" (1920) and "Op zachte vooizekens" (1921). In January 1923, she left Belgium, to be treated for tuberculosis at a sanatoria in Switzerland, where she was cured shortly after her arrival and she returned to Antwerp. In 1927, she became town librarian in Mechelen, continued writing and released her collection of poems titled "Schaduw" (1928). Her other works included "Anthology of Alice Nahon" (1926), "Alice Nahon en haar gedichten" (1932) and "Maart-April" (1936), published after her death. She died at age 36 in in the Carnotstraat, Belgium.
