Adam Martin Whitcomb is the son of William and Agnes Jane (Anderson) Whitcomb. He married Mary Ellen Powers, April 20, 1881 in Ferry, MI. They had two daughters, Laura and Estella.
Adam was known as "Mart" to his family and friends.
Adam was one of the original settlers in Oceana Co. He worked in the Powers' Saw & Grist Mill.
Adam and his wife were active members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Ferry, MI.
He died of Arterio Seloroses, and is buried beside his wife, Mary Ellen, in the Ferry Cemetery.
