Deceased Name: Edward Kugelman

Edward Kugelman, 85, of 2417 Foster av., retired fire department battalion chief, died yesterday in the Swedish Covenant hospital. He joined the department in 1891, was promoted to chief in 1921 and retired in 1933. During his 42 years of service he received several honorable mentions for rescue work. He leaves his widow, Sophie; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret White and Mrs. Edna Hohmann, and a sister. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 5200 N. Western av.

Services Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1 p.m., at funeral home, 5200 N. Western avenue, corner Foster. Interment Rosehill cemetery.
