In 1965, at the age of 57, she married Perry E. Beebe. Perry died in 1975.
She attended Antioch College (1925-1928) in Yellow Springs, Ohio, near Dayton.
On May 12, 1979, she was struck and killed by a drunk driver south of Kalispell, Montana.
