Actress. Born Violet Irene Smith, she appeared in about 60 films from 1916 to 1927. Best remembered as leading lady to William S. Hart in "The Silent Man." Other credits include: Opposite Gaston Glass in the "The Midnight Flower," (1923) supported Madge Bellamy in "Soul of the Beast," (1923) supported Florence Vidor in "The Mirage," (1924) starred in "Heartless Husbands" (1925) and supported Mary Pickford in her production of "Little Annie Rooney."
