Actor. Growing up in the Barracas neighborhood, he began working in the theatre and the circus. Entering film in 1937, he won the Best Actor Award for "What happened to Reynoso?" He worked with directors such as Luis Cesar Amadori, Juan Carlos Thorry, and Enrique Carreras. Over his lifetime, he appeared in over fifty-four films, his last film "Patricia Mia" being released after his death. Other prominent films include "Educating Nini," "Songs of the Suburbs," and "That's the Woman I Want." On stage, he usually appeared in comic sentimental roles. He worked with the Muiño-Alippi company beginning in 1930. He is especially remembered for his role in "Goodbye…my silver!" in 1949. "Marrying a widow what a tricky thing" continued to bring him success four years later. Those closest to him nicknamed him "Panchito." He is considered to be a prominent part of the classic era of Argentine cinema.
