~~~~Alexander was born the fourth son of Scotland born Charles George Ross, chief factor for the Hudsons Bay Co. and his beautiful wife Isabella Mainville of Ojibwa/Metis ancestry.
This beautiful wooden grave marker, photo courtesy of Rachel Perkins a 3x great grand daughter, this crucial and only remaining physical evidence of the first four years of the Ross family at Ross Bay Cemetery.
