Bio

Born in Queens, NY but raised in Hollywood, FL by parents seeking a better life. A college degree in Anthropology, and participated in several archeological excavations. Involved in many organizations and causes - including, but not limited to: human rights, historic preservation, women's rights, LGBT rights and AIDS advocacy. For a period of time, active in local & states politics and was a delegate at at a National Convention nominating a president. Founded the Stonewall Library & Archives in Fort Lauderdale. Worked for Cunard, a British passenger ship co. for several years, and sailed around the world. A member of the British Royal Merchant Navy (but a proud citizen of the USA!)Now I enjoy travel and have visited nearly 90 countries on 6 continents. Recent travels have taken me to Asia mainly: India, Nepal, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, etc.

I'm working as a uniformed patrol officer at the University of Pennsylvania.

Currently a major pre-occupation of mine is restoring my 115 year old Victorian home in an historic neighborhood in Philadelphia; it is a "white elephant" with three floors, six bedrooms, and has stained glass windows, fireplaces, pocket doors, etc.

Internments include mother (Ray Silber), father (Abraham Silber) - both in Miami-Dade, Florida; my best friend, Carmen Lewis in Philadelphia, PA.
