My favorite things to do are genealogy and scrapbooking. My mother, Lila Ashby Thacker, is currently working on the 7th thick album for 12 different family members with our ancestors' biographies to which I add a scrapbook page with photo for each. I also research our ancestors and add more dates and names. It's a long process but fun. My boyfriend and I had been looking a long time for his grandfather who had left his grandmother with 3 small kids and started another family. One day my boyfriend stumbled on FAG (findagrave.com) and found his long lost grandpa and his picture. It was like a reunion. We emailed the person who entered his info. She turned out to be a relative and we've communicated ever since and gotten close.
