Bio

My Grandfather Lewis was always very proud of his family history. His Tenney family came to America Dec. 1638 to Salem, Mass on the sailing ship-John, that also carried the first printing press. A different part of my Grandfather's family tree line came to Texas in late 1830s. I am a 5th generation Texan. Yep! I do have a great deal of Texas Pride!
Since the mid 1980s, I have been researching family lines for my family & my husband's family.
Some of these families are: Adams, Baker, Bland, Barker, Bartlett, Bishop, Brown, Brunson, Brown, Caufield, Cheives/Cheeves, Coker, Dollar, Draper, Feagin, Grounds, Harp, Iley/Ivey, King, Latham, Lewis, Martin, McCauley, Pearson, Pitts, Price, Tenney, Thacker, Windham, Yocham/Yocum, Young.

Just to let you know--I like to do this little project on findagrave. I call it my "After-Life" Family Reunion project. What I do is try to track down the information on all the children of one my or my husband's ancestors, then I see if that child has a memorial page on findagrave. Then I like to request a link between the child-that I found & their parents. So if I request an edit on your memorial page, that doesn't mean I would like it transfer to me, I am just trying to re-unite my or my husband's ancestor's families. If I really, really would like a transfer, then I will request, very politely, if a transfer would be possible.
