I'm Brandon Hughes and for my Boy Scout Eagle Project I am photographing all of the headstones in the Ponder Cemetery on Hwy 20 between I575 and Cumming. I will also be providing the Cherokee County Historical Society with a printed copy of all of the information and photos taken for this project.

I am using the book titled "Cemeteries of Cherokee County, Georgia" that was compiled by Shirley Morris copyrighted in 1997. Some updates have been provided to me from Mrs. Morris for this project. There are known to be approximately 450 people currently burried at this cemetery.
